Signed to the very highly regarded Third Ear Recordings, WBEEZA is sitting comfortably amongst names like Brendon Moeller, Fabrice Lig and Theo Parrish, bringing some well needed freshness to the capital's dance music scene.

Wbeeza's production can be jacking, swinging, jazzy, soulful, tough, deep and raw. He takes in the history of house, with an ear for Detroit, and gives it a true London stamp.

Wbeeza has international support across the board, in the Techno world from the likes of Laurent Garnier, to Sebo K (Mobilee), and through the House spectrum from Trus'me (Prime Numbers) to Jus' Ed (Underground Quality), to name a few... and he was listed 3rd in the Little White Earbuds Top 5 Breakout Acts of 2009, among the likes of Mount Kimbie and Black Jazz Consortium.

    Third Ear's Guy McCreery wrote:

"In my 8 years in music, WBEEZA is the most exciting newcomer I've encountered. ..
If i heard a DJ playing his tracks in a club I would have wanted to know immediately who the artist is"

    What the critics say?
    Resident Advisor's Carnes said:
"Third Ear Recordings have long been forging the link between London and Detroit... becoming essential purchases for discerning fans. It wasn't until the middle of last year that the label had their own response to fire back over the Atlantic, which came in the form of Wbeeza... 4/5"

    BOOMKAT:
"Wbeeza is just 23 ... but sounds for all the world like he's fully versed in the disciplines and techniques of vintage house music, with more than a little bit of a Detroit influence permeating these productions. Wbeeza's drum programming is particularly refined, balancing the power of motorised techno with organic, jazzy kit sounds."

    DJ Mag:
"Wbeeza turns out a mid-'90s flavour dub that sits perfectly between house and garage. Listening to the track will take the old crew back... while newer heads will get some much needed education on days gone by."
