Just if anybody is curious of set-ups for product shoots (in this case school uniforms) thanks to Chorcai who gave me a hand last week too.

The brief is to shoot all the products in the shop (approx 400) and hand them over to a web design company for an ecommerce site.

Set-up is a lastolite hi-lite with an elinchrom d-lite 4 kit and a 1dmk3 with a 24-70L and triggering with pocketwizards. Checked lighting periodically with a polaris lightmeter. Camera is on a manfrotto 055 tripod. Shot in raw and large jpeg with more than likely the jpeg is bang on.

Very nice Keith. Nice and simple setup. Good work if you can get it. :) Did you use anything like a gretagmacbeth colorchecker chart? No harm in checking for colour accuracy and consistency.

Any chance you could post a picture that you took of a product with that set up?

An 'end result' so to speak?

Heres one, fairly simple but they will not be shown any larger than 640x480

I found it all very interesting, both dealing with the customer + products as well as camera/ lighting set up. Thanks for letting see whats involed.
