Energy saving lightbulbs

B and Q Airside Retail Park have Philips engery saving lightbulbs @ 15c each. They have the 40W and I think it was either 70 or 75W. They had a fair amount of both. Not sure if it applies to all B and Q stores.

Was in B&Q liffey valley earlier and saw no Phililps energy saving bulbs. Was in a bit of a rush so didn't bother checking prices on what they did have on the shevles (Megaman, etc..) to see if there were any deals on them.

I was in B and Q Airside this morning, and couldn't find these. I asked a couple of CS staff and they didn't seem to know about this offer.

Had a quick scan around and couldn't see them either.

@derek_c - where abouts are they in the shop?

Hi Ambrose, when you walk in through the barrier at the front entrance they were either in the aisle directly in front of you or the one to your left. There was two display stands of them, one for the 40w and the other for the 75w. The displays would have been facing the back of the shop. They had other small offers beside them... tea towels ... pegs... hope that helps.

70 or 75 watt ain't proper energy saving bulbs, sure most people were only using 60w anyway

soon it will be not only illegal to produce 70 watt bulbs, but also to sell them, that's why they're clearing them out at that price

Best I could do was B&Q own-brand @ four for €5.30. Still not bad compared to Dunnes/Tesco, I suppose.

There were at least another 50-60 when I bought em.
Just in front of the tills (not the self service ones).
