    Hi,

Don't know if this is the right place for this post ...but here's goes anyhow.
I have a HP Photosmart C4580 printer, which has recently begun to absolutely drink ink. I buy the XL cartridges and have not had much issues before. I don't print an excessive amount of colour pages, but on Saturday morning I put in a brand new colour cartridge XL, and printed 12 colour pages and then the printer told me that it could no longer print due to out of ink!
Im gobsmacked! The same thing is after happening again! I got another cartridge and have barely printed anything colourwise, and the print monitor tells me the cartridge is low! Even though it was only put in on Monday evening !
Anyone else have this problem with HP printers. Mine is about 1 yr old now.
Would cleaning the print heads have any effect?

    Thanks.
