The government are going to have anyone under the age of 49 work till 68, so we will all be bringing our zimmer frames to work, the government should not be allowed their pension till their 68 and see how quick it would be passed. Also they are goin to force us to pay into pension schemes with no guarantee we wont lose it all like Waterford Crystal, COME ON IS THIS A JOKE why can't they set up a pension scheme for everyone and Guaratee the pension and help the small normal people unlike Nama who makes sure the Rich Developers don' have their houses reposessed.

    Finnally to the government
    1. WE NEVER ASKED FOR NAMA AND GOT IT WE DONT WANT TO HELP THE RICH 5% OF THE POPULATION. WE WANT TO HELP EVERYONE

    2. IF YOU BRING IN THIS PENSION REFORM THE SAME SHOULD APPLY TO ALL OF YOU.

    3. GUARANTEE THE PENSION AND CREATE A GOVERNMENT PENSION SCHEME S THAT CAN'T BE TOUCHED BY ANYONE THE MONEY GOES IN AND STAYS THERE.

IF YOU HAVE READ THIS SEND YOUR FRIENDS A LINK ITS TIME FOR US TO STAND UP AND BE HEARD THE SMALL PERSON IS GETTING HIT CONSTANTLY AND THE BIG BOYS ARE BEING HELPED. I SAY LET THE PEOPLE BE HEARD AND NOT IGNORED!

I assume that this wont apply to early retirement PS schemes.

Presumably it's to help those of us who are closer to retirement age than our younger fellow posters read the important message it contains without eyestrain.

Dude, giant text like that just annoys everyone on the Internet. Capitals are shouting, bolded is foot-stamping, giant text is a step beyond either. You haven't started this with a discussion in mind by the looks of things and we don't od petitions and so on (that's mentioned in the Politics charter, strongly advised to be read by all forum members). I could just make the text smaller but it isn't a discussion thread anyway. I really advise you to take a good look at the forum charter, it'll help you to join in the discussions:)

Locking this for the above reasons, when there's a discussion on the changing of the pension age (as no doubt there wil be), feel free to join in the discussion but please remember the no petitions thing. We're a discussion forum and that's not changing.
