Two quick questions

    Hey.
    Just two quick ones..
I was late sending in a form (u.16 I think). The office called me and I sent it in straight away in time.
I have'nt heard from them since so I'm concerned I may have lost my claim.

I've been sending in my yellow casja forms (X-O) dockets by post to the social office too. I know my hours for about 10 days ahead at a time so I've been sending the forms in as I learn my hours. Is that ok? for example I've filled in the one for 3rd March - 9th March. Is it ok to send in like this?

Is there anyway to check if my claim is still active? I've yet to be approved.

    thanks :)

Just going to bump this one one more time and streamline it to one question:
Is there anyway to check if my claim is going through?
Been calling maynooth ~2 weeks. No answer

Have you registered with fas yet? I got my first cheque the week after I went into fas although that could be a coincidence (It took 3 months altogether).
As long as you keep sending in the yellow dockets and they keep sending you more out to fill in you should get it in time.

Yes it's ok to send the docks in a few days early if you are certain of your hours.

    Thanks for the reply, Green_Jesus.
I've been sending em in weekly as I learn my hours. I've no work for the next 3-4 weeks and then i've only 5 weeks of part time.
Yup registered for fas, done the aptitude test and was told I'm on a waiting list :( I'm still keeping up hope.

I was on sw last year for a bit so i'm hoping that will help fast track my claim.

Registering with FAS is a coincidence - they have no way of checking you registered unless you supply them the letter to say you have done so.

Call into the office to the authorising area if you want to check on the status of your claim - some offices aren't answering phones as they are so busy, and there are work to rule some days where they aren't answering phones because of that.
