Thought I'd stick this in here. Was up in Liffey Valley (Dublin) this morning, and got a price of €52 for a tuxedo to rent. We're going to take 5, so he'll tell me the reduction when I make the booking. Think it's a very good deal. You can collect them up to 10 days before you need them, and bring them back no later than the Wednesday after. They have stores in England too, so if you have a groomsman over there, he can get measured for your suit from the details in the system, and pick up the suit here when he comes over.

They're called Young's Hire, in the Suits You shop.

hi I was up there on Wednesy evening and saw a sign up in their window saying "Hire 4 Suits and the Grooms is Free Of Charge" I dont know when this went up but my be worth checking it out with them just incase the offer only just went up or you missed it .

By the way how did they compare pricewise and range wise as agaist other vendors you have visited? I wil start shopping around soon for suit hire but though they may be more expensive then some of the others

Yeah, saw that alright. Am going to have to buy the shirts and ties from M&S aswell. So that rent 4, get 1 free comes in handy. Was thinking about Debenhams, but they don't carry stock here. They have to ship it in from England. That could take weeks, needing different sizes, wrong pants. That's hassle I don't need.

Blacktie are doing a good special offer at the moment too, you can rent any wedding suit for €69. This includes everything except the shoes. I'm not getting married until October, but we put a deposit down, so they're giving us the special offer price until then. The suits we were looking at were about €120 to rent, not including shoes, when they're full price.

I was at a wedding fair yesterday and booked 4 suits from blacktie for 69.50 per suit down from the normal 130 per suit and gave them a 20 euro deposit..my wedding isn't until 2011 but they said that once i paid the 20 euro down, it was valid til whenever i needed to use it..they said it was a one off for the wedding fair though?

AFAIK it's the end of March, but once you put the deposit down they'll hold it for you.
