    Hi all,

I've booked myself and my girlfriend into the Delphi Mountain Report this months for her birthday. I'm interested in doing some outdoor activities along with some relaxation but would like some feedback.

I'm interested in booking either a half day or full day activity day but what is entailed? Can we pick and choose what we can do?? I would be interested in kayaking along with absailing/climbing but is this possible?

Any help/suggestions would be really helpful as this is our first weekend away and want to make it special.

    Thanks in advance

Went there for a joint Hen/Stag weekend and found the surroundings and staff to be fab. Did archery and watched as others did the wall climbing and kyacking (sorry about my spelling). You can pick and chose whatever you want to do or not do.
    Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
Only issue I have is the prices for rooms and the retstaraunt but the bar does food too.
If you are driving there, do so in daylight as the roads are sooooooo small and curvey you have to be able to see where you are going.

I've went to Delphi twice, once in primary school for just a day and the second time was in transition year and we stayed for three days. We didn't get to pick activities either time but I think that was simply because we were school groups so the larger numbers make things more difficult.

We got pretty bad rooms and food but again, we were a school group and there are a lot nicer rooms available. I remember there was another school staying there around the same time as us who had nicer rooms than us but shared the same food so I'm not sure if there's just the one dining room for everyone or if that was just a dining room for school groups.

Overall though it is brilliant fun there and you should have great craic. Hope you enjoy it!

How did you get on at Delphi, going to book it for me and me wife for the end of the month. Was the spa good and the activities - is it good value for money?

    Thanks
