    hi guys
Im trying to track down a trad irish version of Pachelbel's Canon. My usual resource (session.org) is on this occassion not able to assist me in my search, the only tunes I am coming up with there is
Pachelbel's Frolics, which is a different piece. Any ideas?
    thanks!

It's the Brazen Heads - from the album "Who's Yer Paddy". Looks like you can buy the track from http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/brazenheads

Are you sure Pachelbel's Frolics isn't the tune you're looking for?
It was recorded by Eileen Ivers on her first album - Eileen Ivers -Green linnet records.
It starts off as the familiar Pachelbel's Canon before taking off into the hornpipe version in the second half.
This is it from youtube - well worth a listen!
