Is a director able to get redundancy

    I have two directors in my company one on prsi class A and one on class S - i am wondering if anyone knows if they are entitled to redundancy like everyone else in the company ?

    The Class A director is entitled to redundancy. The Class S director is not. The company can however pay them a tax free termination payment.

    The Class S director is also not entitled to any JSA.

    Thats not correct - they can make a claim, however it will be means tested so depends on each individual case on how much they may get. If their interest in the business is wrapped up completely, and they have no other capital/income then they may get the full weekly rate.
