Where do you buy your playstation games?

So far amazon seems cheap for titles like FFXIII and GOW3 but their free delivery can take a week. Not great if you want it release day or close to it.

With the flood of games being released this month, where are you shopping for your games?

I don't have anything useful to add, but just want to say I find Amazon super quick to deliver - 3 days normally, 4 maximum.

Some games I want to have the day of release (God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Bad Company 2) so will buy them in whatever shop is giving the best price.

Everything else I will buy online from either Amazon or Videogames Plus.

Yup I'm exactly the same. Some games I don't mind waiting for, but others I go in the day of release and pick them up. Depends if I'm trading in a game or not too.

I sometimes find I am in two minds about buying games. I want the cheapest price but want the games on release day.

Sometimes after I buy it from a shop I kinda regret not buying it online and just waiting for delivery.

I buy mine from shops. I like the build up of anticipation as I sit on the bus on the way home dying to play it.

I've use Amazon quite a bit lately, their free delivery option has gotten quicker recently. I ordered a game last Wednesday afternoon and had it Friday morning. Very good service.

For cheap pre-orders from the UK, I use Asda. They ship early and I have gotten new games on release day with them before and once a day early.

Game ship early too but you usually end up with it on the Monday after release day.

It depends if i want it release day ill get it in a shop, usually HMV are the cheapest lately. But if im not in a panic ill pre order from the hut or zavvi if they have a good promo on. Havent got many imports any more i think the price difference is getting closer for eu games plus it came be difficult to trade US games here.

I usually head into town after college on a game release day, check out gamestop, hmv and GAME, give smyths in bray a call and find out how much they're selling it for. Then i'll decide which is cheapest and if it happens to be smyths i'll take a detour to bray and pick it up on the way home!

    Over complicated but i'm a student, it's nature's way..
