Just wondering where you guys would recommend as the best place to sell some 'clutter' and other stuff from the attic/garage/playroom thats useful but gathering dust.
I have some bulky stuff which would have to be picked up or delivered (eg weights bench)

I buy regularly on ebay but never sold anything.
Some of my workmates have used Donedeal to get rid of a carpet and a horsebox of all things! and now Ben Dunne has a site?
Or is Adverts.ie here worth a go?
Or maybe even a car boot sale may be the best?

Interested in hearing some views or experiences any of ye have had. Ta

My own experience is that car boot sales are the best way of de-cluttering and if there isn't one near you try the charity shops instead. You're not going to get rich selling at a car boot sale and I always feel a sense of satisfaction when I drop stuff off at a charity shop, plus I usually end up buying something! :)

Id avoid eBay like the plague if you are selling. The protection schemes HUGELY favour the buyer to the seller's detriment.

Why not keep it "local" (if thats the corect phrase) and sell on adverts
