New Ipod Ebook Query

    Hi All,

Was wondering if anyone knew of some way around this issue.

I recently lost my 30g video ipod so I went out and bought a brand spanking new 160g ipod classic. I used to read ebooks on the old one porting them over using wordpod and it was all good. The text was large and you could click to the next page at the bottom of each page.

With the new one, for some reason the text is much smaller (just about readable if you sit still with the screen about 2 inches from your face!) and there's one other issue which is quite annoying. The click to the next page often doesn't work while reading an ebook so you have to get back to the page where the page numbers of the book are listed.

Say I read page 1-10 and the link won't work to go to page 11 at the bottom of page 10. "Menu" button sends it back one page and holding it down sends you back to main menu and when you go back to notes, it stays at page 10 (although it turns up blank). Long story short, I have to click backwards on each page I've read through (each one blank) to get back to the page with all the page numbers listed so I can proceed to page 11. It's really annoying.

Sorry for the length of this but I want to make sure I've described it accurately.

So my questions are.....i) can i increase the text size? ii) Is there any way to stop the ipod reverting back to the last page read all the time? Or even better to have the links at the bottom of each page to work?

    Any and all replies/thoughts appreciated

(other than suggestions to get a kindle or sony reader!)

It doesn't look like it's possible to change the font size, but someone posted an alternative method using image files in this thread-

Thanks for that Baza. The font came up pretty tiny when I first did it but I think that it can be changed with some fiddling. However, there's an issue with the fact that the pages are completely unmarked when they come up on the ipod (i.e. just the picture is visible) so that it's v difficult to find where I last read! There's no filename visible or page numbers down the bottom of the picture.

I wonder is there some way to set the ipod to show jpg filenames on the "photos" page?
