Last years tax back?

    Hello all,

I have recently gotten my p60. I had not given any information to the tax office so that my tax would have been reduced during last year. I was paying 21% tax some weeks if i earned above a certain limit. I was wondering if anybody here could tell me how I apply to get that tax I paid refunded, or if that even exists for that matter.

    Thanks.

Not 100% sure about your question, but a Form P21 is the tax refunding form.

in most cases if you ring up your tax office ( saying that they are on a go slow ) and ask for a balancing statement , they will do it over the phone and any rebate will be sent out to you with in a few weeks.

Go on to Revenue website. Register on PAYE anytime (bottom left hand corner of main screen). Once you have completed the registration process you can apply for your p21 online.
