A friend of mine is hoping to travel to Toronto in September, and will be accompanying 2 others who are blind/partially sighted. They can get to either Shannon or Dublin to fly from, but can anyone give me some advice as to who to fly with & who would be best considering the needs of two of passengers. Thanks.

During the summer months both Air Canada and Air Transat are flying from Dublin to Toronto Pearson and as far as I know only Air Transat are flying from Shannon.
Difficult to say which would be better to fly with if you have special needs. I'm guessing perhaps with Air Canada's size they may be more experienced with these issues or easier to make contact with regarding any special arrangements. However perhaps the journey through Shannon would be much more hassle free than dealing with Dublin also.

Thanks, that sounds like good advice.
