Gaming laptop recommendation?

The guy in my local computer store recommended me a laptop for gaming, but according to people on another forum it's not a great gaming laptop.


Can anyone recommend a gaming laptop for €1100 or less? Preferably under €1000?

The laptop that was recommended to me was the Toshiba U500-ICN, but the guys on the other forum said the graphics card (Nvidia GeForce G210M) wouldn't play the higher end games, the card is a 512mb card


There is another laptop in the shop which has a 1GB graphics card and is within my budget, the only problem is the machine is almost 4kg in weight, does anyone know of a lighter machine with similar specs?

I do not want a desktop, I dislike their non-portability

Forget about how much memory the card should have - you need to look at the specs and benchmarks of the GPU itself. Theres tonnes of low-end cards with 1GB ram.
