Cluaisthuiscint now worth 40 marks rather than 100.

    2 leamhthuiscints, 20 marks each.

Tenses & grammar question for 20 marks - change a passage from, e.g. past to future & fill in the blanks.

    No comhra anymore.

Paper 2 layout is the same I think?

Alright, for paper 2 I need to do a letter, write about a theme or emotion from a poem and write about a theme or emotion from the book I studied?

Am I missing anything? I have to go over everything carefully because I did bad in paper.. :<

Blue is right. Here is the layout of Paper 2 (I have mine in front of me):

    Roinn 1 - Prós Liteartha

Ceist 1 - This includes questions on a given (unseen) piece (basically a comprehension). For the given or unseen piece the questions work the same way as they did in Paper 1: you have to answer 1Q in Section A (Buntuiscint), 1Q in Section B (Léirthuiscint Ghinearálta) and the third question from either section.

Ceist 2 - This is, as you mentioned earlier, where you write about a theme or emotion about a short story, novel or drama that you studied in Irish.

    Roinn 2 - Filíocht

Ceist 3 - This is the same as ceist 1 except you are given two poems instead of a story comprehension. Question requirments are the same (1Q from A, 1Q from B & 1Q from either).

Ceist 4 - This is the same as ceist 2 except you have to write about a poem.

    Roinn 3 - Litir

Ceist 5 - Pick from 3 choices and write a letter.
