How do you broach turning a casual relationship into a meaningful one? The feelings are there, been going on a few months now. Both have been extremely hurt in past relationships, one more than the other.

I'm afraid to broach it as I dont want to lose this person. I care about them a lot and I know there's potential there but im so afraid of this person walking out of my life that I just cant bring the subject up.

I know the obvious thing is to talk to them but I just dont know how to approach it - i.e. what to say, how to say it.

Say that you want the relationship to turn from casual to meaningful. Its what you want so there is no other option other than honesty. There is only going to be one of two answers and its always a risk, especially when both parties have been hurt before.

Best of luck, it could be the best decision you ever made!
