I've got a 120GB slim and i have barley anything on it. I was trying to download God Of War 3 demo on Sat night and i stopped at 18%(497MB). I cancelled it and tried again but it stopped at the exact same spot. The console was not reacting to my controller for about 15 minutes so i restarted the console but it wasn't picking up my controller. I also came across the HDD error screen twice but i just pressed the PS button and i was back to the download. Once i reconnected the controller i tried to download a different demo but once again it stopped at the magical number of 497MB.... I then tried to connect to the internet via cable but it still stopped. Has anyone come across this before and have a solution??? Please help I've never had a problem downloading before

Have a go at formatting the HD. Sounds to me like it's either full or just fragmented.

Well I've got nothing on it just Crash Bandicoot 1 and saved games so i'll backup my data and format the drive later... I'll post on what happens, thanks :)

Could be a dodgy HD too. Either way, looks like a HD issue (I would say the controller was a fluke)
