    Hi,

I'm about to purchase a house, providing I get planning permission to build a 2 storey extension (70m2 in total). Ive drawn up floor plans etc and everything is fine until I get to the roof....The problem is I cant figure out how you would tie in the new roof with the existing hip roof. Any advice appreciated.

    • The wall plate for the extension will be 400mm below the existing wall plate
    • Its a semi detached property.
    • The existing roof is approx 54m2 (plan).
    • The extension is to the rear of the property but will stick out 500mm past existing wall (if looking at front elevation of property).

Post a copy of the plans or a breif drawing .:D would be alot clearer to understand .
