Log cabin in Scotland holiday - with activities on site?

    hi all,

Possible change of plan for my Easter break, all 'hot spots' are working out way too expensive or else the flight times are crap :(

Am now considering flying to Edinburgh (as I can fly direct from Galway) and then hoping to stay in a log cabin outside of the city, preferably near a lake.

It would have to have good on site facilities (so a holiday village of log cabins I guess) and icing on the cake would be if it had good public transport links so we didn't have to hire a car. Thinking of activities like watersports, fishing, biking etc.

    Suggestions anyone?

    Thanks :)

I've heard of Loch Tay Highland Lodges being a good park to stay at. It's in Perthshire one the shores of the Loch Tay - believe it or not! It offers different types of accommodation depending on your budget and loads of onsite & offsite activities.

Hope that helps, the link is on the name of the place above.
