On Amazon I can get a 250g Slim with HDMI cable Uncharted 2 and Bioshock 2 all for €363. I dunno how long they take with delivery though.

Does anybody know how much the console deals are in GAME, Gamestop or HMV?

I've bought consoles from Amazon before, when the €:£ was good and it took 2-3 working days. Can't complain.

If I were you I would go for the deals on the 120Gb versions and save a few quid for a headset or another game. You can add a larger harddrive later if you really need to.

Uncharted 2 is class though, make sure you pick that up somewhere.

is there a reason why you cant goto the shops and check yourself ?

(not trying to be b1tchy but are you that lazy/busy that you cant phone or call into shops nearby and enquire instead of asking people online? )

ok...fair enough ...you are looking for a PS3 .... so read the reviews online and in magazines, check the shops, check online, find thr cheapest price ...remembering that if you buy local you have a place to return it.

Well I don't have anyway to get in town during the week so naturally I thought the PS3 forum could help me.

Maybe just give the guy a break! You don't have to reply!

If you have the option try going to Northern Ireland, otherwise I'd just pick the bundle with the games you want in a bricks and mortar. There isn't a huge variety on price so you'll save a few quid by getting the games you want with the console.

Gamestop had the ps3 120gb slim with Modern Warfare 2 for €300 around Christmas, if thats still going it's not a bad deal. Power city are meant to be good for price for the console alone and xtra vision generally have good bundles. Avoid smyths they overcharge imo.

I picked up 80GB PS3 for half in Brynes World of Wonder Navan. It was part of their closing down sale.

Lets get back on topic lads. I let these threads slide because it's hard to have a comprehensive thread on such a topic because deals change all the time. Plus we have a lot of people who work in stores that sell consoles, and commercial reps from online outlets as members on boards, so it's a useful place to ask such questions.

I'm more annoyed about back-seat mods then these threads, tbh :)
