Info on Supercar track experiences in IRELAND

    Hi all!

    I am desperately trying to track (see what I did there) down a venue in Ireland where they offer supercar experiences, similar to those you see on Top Gifts etc. It's been frustrating up till now as all of the Irish websites seem to offer this experience on English tracks only. A tad irritating.
    My Mother is a young 70 this year and has always wanted to drive a fast car. I would love to be able to arrange this for her. However my budget simply will not extend beyond Ireland. My absolute max spend would be 250euro. I feel she would get more out of a professional driver taking her around the track and then staying with her in the car while she had a bash as opposed to just hiring a car a her being terrified to go beyond the driveway!!
    Suggestions please. The alternative will be a day at a cookery school....so predictable I think.:(

    This slightly off topic .... so apologies Lightning !!


    What are the options for bringing your own car to a track... I think Modello do it ? But I live in Galway and getting my track car to Dublin requires a trailer and towing vehicle etc. Anybody know of any places down the country ?

    I've been to Rallyschoolireland and it's great fun, i'd highly recommend it.
    I've also driven supercars ( Lambo LP640, Ferrari 430, Porsche 911 turbo) at Thruxton circuit in England http://www.thruxtonracing.co.uk/home.html.
    Expensive especially when you factor in flights and an overnight stay but worth it. Some thrill doing 150mph plus in a 630+bhp lambo!
