    Hi
I have an X Type Jaguar. It needs a Service - was thinking of going to Yomac Cars in Glasnevin. Does anyone have any experiences with them - good or bad ? Or alternatively any other recommendations on Dublin Northside.

    Thanks

I would think any independant garage would manage basic servicing on your x type specially if there are no issues with it.

Yep, as Mick says any good garage. If it needs spark plugs changing be sure they change all six though, one or two of the require quite a bit of work so many places only change 4 of the 6

As the X-Type uses mostly Mondeo running gear and you have no luck with an indy then a Ford dealer should be able to service it for you.

Any half decent mechanic or DIY chap will have no bother servicing one, there is no need to go near a dealer of any sort, just go to a reputable independent mechanic and not some animal that will change 4 of the plugs and throw a gallon of mineral oil into it.

    Firstly, welcome...

Yep you should give them a shout and get a price, they seem to do a lot of work on Jags. You'll often see their ad up above in the "google ads box". Maybe they will give you a boards.ie discount ;)
