    Hiya boys and girls.

Coming back to biking after two years. Thinking of selling on the Divvy 600 and getting a pan. Anyone know what age CN calls a classic these days?

    Thanks in advance.

Hmm, my bike is a '92. Do you need a full license to get classic insurance?

no classic is classic, liscence status has noting to do with it :)

Oh crap, my memory must be going with old age. I thought it was 10 years so the 99 pan is out, Looks like the divvy 600 is getting put back on the road then.

1992 and 12k miles - another ebay find.

    Thanks all

Ballpark figure for a premium? Mature(in years :D) male, full bike license, Garaged mid 90's Kawasaki KLR650. TPFT.

It's really inexpensive in the UK. About STG£100.

I had to ring CN for help last week. I have 8 year NCB and its lapsed two years. So I had to check when three years are up.

They told me that its not till june so I have to take out insurance before then or I lose my 8 years no claims bonus !!!

They quoted me 350 euro for TPFT (I think) for a 92 diversion 600.

Feck it anyway, been bidding on a 99 pan european in wales thinking it was now classic.

Best to check with CN, because last time I heard (a year or few ago at this stage) you had to have a "normal" bike insured on the road in order to get classic insurance on a bike.

Similar rule for the cars I believe.

OfCo, open to correction on this.

I found a CN quote from last year. €240 odd for TPFT on a older thumper.

on classicc cars cn want a modern on the road but on bikes they are happy if
    bike is 15+
    you are 25+
you have a full lisence as in a pink one for the bike you're riding

never needed modern on the road ive been riding classics for years
