Lost my medical card!

Went and lost my bloody medical card, now I need to get the HSE to verify my status for a form and I'm thinking I'll need it.

What are the chances I'll be ok without it, IE they'll be able to look me up on the system with my details PPSN number etc?

And regards a replacement, will I have to fill in a whole new form and go through the entire rigmarole again or will they they just issue a lost replacement card

    Thanks

The HSE issues your GP with your GMS number so I would ask him/her.

I would then phone the GMS section (presuming they are answering phones - with the work to rule) or maybe write to them and ask them to send you the replacement card.
