    As the title says.

I remember a short Irish film we had on VHS as a young buck, suppose it would be early 90's.

It was about this young fella who was going to school and his granny got him a new school bag. It was a monstrosity of a yoke and iirc it was covered with flowers. Every evening he was chased home from school

He tries to hang himself from the light bulb but it comes out of the ceiling and his mother comes in and catches him.

It is comedy and I would really like to locate it.

If anyone knows what it is called I would be grateful.

    Thanks in advance

Thirty Five Aside? Written & Directed by Damien O'Donnell. Great little film. No idea where you'd pick it up I'm afraid.

Was that the one where the kid had the big model airplane and ran with it through the front door of the house breaking off the wings?

If you find it, let me know. Filmbase in Temple Bar might be a starting point.

Yeah, that's Thirty Five Aside alright. One of the all-time great short films. It's been on TV a few times, but not for years.
