    Hey new to this forum...
    I have been asked to make a number of bags for sale in a new shop in blackrock..i generally make fabric bags...but i would like to make stiffer ones....does anyone know what i can get to stiffen the bags without havin to use leather plastics etc...

    What about the spray on starch that was used on collars, its available in supermarkets still I think.

    It might be worth a try.

    try googling starch to see what you get.

    I think what you're looking for are stiffener panels. Have a quick google, there are plenty of places that sell them online, and textile versions are available.
