    World Track Cycling Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark:
    March 24th-28th 2010



    Following a road camp in the Gran Canaries (mid Feb) and track camp in Aigle, Switzerland (last week) the riders below have been selected to represent Ireland in the World Track Cycling Championships in Copenhagen later this month.

    Team Pursuit - David O’Loughlin, Matt Brammeier, Marcus Christie, Martyn Irvine and Stephen Barrett, non travelling reserve - Sean Downey. Scratch race - Matt Brammeier. Ireland are 2nd reserve for the points race and are registered for a wild card place in the individual pursuit.

    The team will complete their preparations on the road in Europe in the first half of March, with a final track readiness and tapering camp in Newport mid March. The team will then fly directly to Copenhagen four days before the championships begin where they will acquaint themselves with the championship track.
