Upgrading dell inspirion laptop, had Vista 32bit on it with 2gb RAM.
Just bought new hdd and 4gb of RAM.
Can't decide whether to upgrade to 64bit Windows 7 or go with 32 bit.
    Anyone any knowledge/experience on this?
    Thanks in advance

Go with 64bit, its the present and the future, and also 32bit can only address 3Gb of RAM, less when you take off GPU Ram.

Just check on the dell site that there's 64bit drivers that work with your lappy and Win7.
