    Hi All;

    Looking for advice on this.

    Today we got a new granite counter installed and after they installed it, they notice a small crack up by the sink.

    Now the guy is talking to his boss but i like to know where we stand:

    1 If they offer to fix the crack is there any chance it can come back, and also should we look for a reduction in the cost of it and if so how much?

    2 Show we insist they just replace it?

    No cash has been exchanged yet, as the deal is we only pay for the kitchen once 100% happy with it.

    Thanks
    Terry

    The problem with cracks is they tend to grow it all depends on where the crack is and if it can be fixed. What we use to do with marble was drill a hole at the end of the crack. believe it or not if this is done correctly it stops it growing. However I would get an indepdent report on it.
