I applied for jobseekers allowance 3 weeks ago, woman called around today for means test, how long should I be expecting to wait for my first payment/word back? Is it going to be like a week at the most seeing as I did the means test or has that anything to do with it? I understand there is already a thread to do with…

I understand there is already a thread to do with waiting times etc but doesn't really answer my question, just talks about waiting times altogether and in different areas etc

Nobody here will be able to answer that for you. The lady that called around will have to do up a report of your means, and send it to the desk staff in the office, who will then make a decision on your claim. So it all depends on the backlog of claims in your office, and how long it will take her to write up the report.
