Deleivery time of Pre-Ordered games from HMV/Amazon

    Can i just confirm that pre-ordering with hmv or amazon will have the game delivered on the day its released ? or if its released on friday will it shiped on Friday so delieveryed hopefully next week sometime ?

    Bad Company 2?

    Normally, they're shipped a day or two in advance of release, but that's usually so UK residents get them on release day. It may take a few more days to get here, so you most likely won't receive it on Friday, but probably early next week.

    I ordered mine from Game, and doubt I'll actually get it on Friday.

    I'm hoping mine doesn't arrive on Friday, because I've things to do this weekend that won't get done if it does arrive. I do hope it arrives on Monday though.

    hmv.co.uk ship from Jersey, not in the EU, so you are liable for VAT above €22

    I pre-ordered Aion last Autumn from Amazon.co.uk and, although they do not guarantee that it arrives on the day, it did. So that was good on them.
    HMV no idea.
    In case you are considering play.com, DONT. Their shipping times suck big time, they allegedly shipped at the same time as amazon.co.uk but the package arrived 10 days (!!!!!!!!!) later.
