Anyone buy a 3GS from O2 lately? Shipping with 3.1.3?

    Anyone know off hand what OS O2 3GS's are currently shipping with?

    If its still shipping with 3.1.2 i'll run down now and get one.
    My original is now in iPhone heaven :(

    Tried, they cant tell me because theres no way of knowing from the outside of the box lol

    Not definitive , but might help.

    Firmware got release 1st week Feb 2010 ...so that would be manufacturing week 5 2010.

    The serial number (on side of box) holds the week of manufacture .

    (E.G)
    Digits 1 to 3 (7T7) = Year / Batch code
    Digits 4 to 5 (27) = Week of manufacture
    Digits 6 to 8 (XZY) = Unique identifier part of the S/N

    So if you could have a look at the side of the box pre purchase then you could work it out .
    I would say anything pre week 04 2010 should be 3.1.2 .

    I can't remember now from when I bought mine first, but you don't have to do any auto-update or anything like that in your initial setup do you?

    No initial setup required ....just tell the Dark Lord No ! when he tries to send the 3.1.3 foot soldiers .
