    Hi.

Just wondering if it is legal in Ireland to import prescription drugs bought on the internet into Ireland.

I've read that certain drugs maybe imported legally into other EU countries and I'm just wondering if the law is the same here.

It is legal to import medicines if you have a licence. Most of us don't have one, so buying them in from abroad or on the net is a legal no-no.

I'm guessing then that customs will be very active in opening parcels from abroad ?
