I have had several different types of vans citroen ,renault ,opel but without a doubt the caddy is the best and you will find it easier to sell when the time comes.

I have driven for work in past decade the Opel vans, VW Caddy, Renault Kangoo, Citroen Berlingo and the Ford Boxter.

The Renault and Citroens performed well but they got a bit rattly on the exteriors after 50k and the Citroen from day one used to lose pieces off door panels and plastic stuff on exterior too.

The VW was strongest and the Opel too.

The Ford was lovely too but i only had that for a short period but i noticed it was a rocket to go.

I've driven them all at one stage or another. Hated the Berlingo, very rattly and always left me with a sore back no matter what way I put the seat.

Transit connect was a grand bus but the least 'car like' but it was rugged and a great workhorse.

The Combo was a great little van, nice and pokey too along with being comfortable, just a wee bit plasticy inside with a very annoying indicator tick.

The Caddy was my personal favourite, nice engine and most comfortable with the nicest interior

    we have had a few.

ford connect - nice van feels solid and nice to drive, reliable.

we had some opel combos, and on a new one with just 2k miles, needed all round brakes replaced, and electric loom replaced.. it kept blowing glowplug circuit, which was a pain, as when cold with no glow plug it took 5 mins of cranking to build up a bit of heat for combustion!

also the paint work had blotches on it that needed to be sorted in the garage.. all this on a new van..

caddy is a good van too. dont know much about the french yokes.

Thanks for the feedback.....Looks like getting a decent caddy would be the way to go....if I can find one....clean 03's are getting rare.....
