I want to transfer myself to NUIM

    Hi.
I'm currently studying in DIT and I would love to transfer myself to NUIM (I live in Maynooth, so it would be nice to save on train ticket and on my time!). I will write an e-mail today to admissions' office and see what they'll say, but any hints on how to approach it? I'm on second year of higher cert and I want to go to 3rd year, so how to convince them that I am good enough for them?!

I think it depends on the academic rating of the course your in and the course you are transferring to. For example a degree will have ahigher rating than a diploma.

You can only transfer into second year and there has to be the same course available in Maynooth to transfer into. Get onto admission's early as they can be a nightmare.
