Ubuntu 910 Remix Having flash problems.

    Im using Ubuntu 9.10 remix its great system and is very easy to use I really like it.

    not Im having problems with flash like watching you tube and stuff on mozilla.

    Ive installed flash and all but its just patchy and slow and sometimes work.

    I had to rip out pulseaudio before I could get flash to work in 9.10.

    so uninstall it that and it should work yeah cool I will try that

    Make sure you have the right video drivers installed and the latest version of flash too. Flash is a bit of a dog on linux but it's improving with time.

    never had a problem with flash on mint at all.

    I still could never get flash working with ubuntu 9.10 remix. dont know what was the story I installed it loads of time still would not work properly.

    You could try the minitube app if it's just for Youtube stuff, doesn't use flash.

    Needs phonon-backend-gstreamer from Synaptic though I think.
