My girlfriend works 3 months on,3 weeks off situation on minimum wage. She put in a claim to get jsa/jsb for her 3 weeks off and is waiting on a letter from her work (they are dragging their feet) can she go to the community welfare officer now in the mean time before the claim is finalised and get the dole she will eventually get?

    Hi
there would be no harm in going. Does she have any other evidence of non payment for those weeks on a regular basis? eg wage slips.

They may or may not be able to help, but its worth asking at least.
