So I had booked a trip to Scotland for Wednesday week and on Friday they got about 2-3 meters of snow!!!! They say its going to take a day or two to dig out the car park and stuff but it looks like its going to be perfect for when I get over there..

Any one any advice of what resort to go to? I’m actually a newbie to it and as per an other thread on here I think Ill head to 53 degrees north and pick up a few things.. Should I buy a helmet? or if I rent skis over there will they give me one? Should I get lessons or just head off to the black route ? :pac::pac:

    Any advice would be great..

Sorry I can't comment on Scottish resorts, But I would suggest at least a half day's lesson if you've never skied before, or don't have someone to give you pointers.

& there is no harm watching a few youtube vid's

If you rent skis they won't give you a helmet but you should be able to rent a helmet if you don't want to buy one. Whichever way you go, I'd recommend wearing one.
