Is there anywhere in Ireland that offers loans like the ones in the US for students who pay back the loans after the graduate from university.
Or even one that allows you to start paying a year or 2 later

Does anyone know if you can receive one of these grants during the year that you are studying abroad as part of a ba international.( Not a EU country ) in Maynooth

Nope, nothing like that at all I'm afraid. There's the (woefully inadequate) maintenance grant and/or the BTEA if you are unemployed. Otherwise you'll have to go to a credit union or bank, who despite what they may claim really don't like students unless they have a wealthy parent to go guarantor for them.

You can find more info on the available support here:

No. Nothing like this exsists. The only thing that allowed a lot of people for less well off backgrounds to get degrees in the last decade was that there was a lot of part-time work available. That's what I did. No chance of that now though. I'm trying to get funding for a masters. Of course, banks won't give you money unless you can prove you have money. Ireland has one of the worst education systems in Europe, access wise. If you go to Sweden, every citizen can get loans that they can pay back when they're finished.
