Not really sure if this is any good or not but I think its cheap enough for a Sat Nav with all the bits and pieces, though only US mapping initially included.

    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.33739

Ordered numerous bits and pieces from them before which have (eventually) arrived, anyone have any experience of their Sat Navs? Bad points etc.

(If Mods dont feel this is a BA please feel free to delete)

Bought something off them which became faulty. They never ever replied to any e-mail.

dooferoaks i dont know if its worth taking the risk with this seeing as you can get a decent gps for a €100 or less here and it will have ire and uk mapping. If their was some reviews on the site it would be something, but to early yet.

Have had a one or two problems with DX but generally anything i wanted to resolve the problem was done in a day or two. Did you use the customer express service?

What process I didn't try. I was tired from Googling the subject. It was bought through Amazon who were also no help. The resolution process went nowhere. It was suggested I use a claim back process through the bank(CC company) but they got nowhere either.

I just gave up and took my rage out by throwing it in the fire. GPS Blocking Device which overheated and stopped working, the irony was hilarious. :D

I think it is probably a bit too risky a purchase then? From the "if it looks too good to be true it prob. is" BA then. I wont bother so. And thanks for all advice.

Halfords had Navman S80 and S100 for around €65 recently, might still have them in some branches.

I've ordered from Dealextreme a few times and thought them to be ok. However, the last order I made with them was sent incomplete and they refused to send out the missing items. Google them and you'll find that these guys have a bad rep with many customers. I will never order from them again. If you have issues with your goods, they can be a nightmare to deal with.....
