    Hi,

I currently have an old style telephone that has a UK connector.

The connector has broken off - leaving just the 4 coloured cores.

I'm aware the telephone system and connections in Ireland - while the RJ11 head / connection may have 4 cables, only 2 (the middle 2 in the connector) are used.

So - it should be simply a case of using 2 of the 4 cores and punching them into an Irish RJ11 socket.

Does anyone know which 2 colour cores from the UK are the correct ones?

    Thanks
