So I'm looking to buy a new pair of glasses and I'm really tempted by the prices on framesdirect.com compared to Specsavers.

Thing is, I'm pretty picky about glasses :P Even trying on glasses in a crowded store annoys me, let alone buying blind off the internet. The last pair I bought don't really suit me at all, I just wanted to get out of the store.

Has anyone has any experience with framesdirect? Are they easy to deal with? There's another website that lets you have up to four frames on free trial for a week, I don't suppose framesdirect operate anything like this? I've checked out the 'fitting' software on their site but I'm sure you can all agree that it's not the same as trying the frames on in person.

Basically what I want to know is if I'm unhappy with the fit of the frames will it be any hassle to return them for a different pair or refit? And does anyone have good/bad experiences to tell?

    Thanks

    I bought mine from vision2you.co.uk .
I picked the frames in vision express then sent my prescription off ot them and ordered my lovely glasses for a fraction of the price.
