Best netbook on the market?

    Hey guys,

Ive been looking around at the netbooks on the market and they all seem to be pretty much the same. Below the 2GHz mark for processor, 160-250 HD and a massive battery life of course.

But I'm not really worried about processing power or HD space.
I'm looking for the sturdiest netbook. Something that wont crap out from me bring it literally EVERYWHERE. If that means just getting the netbook with the longest warranty then so be it. But I'd love some feedback on this.

    Cheers.

Well there is a brand called toughbooks , i think by toshiba ?

I don't know how small they would go though , and they would be pricey too.

sony have some small size laptops , 13' i think , that have a very sturdy body.

apple have a (13' size or 15' ) which is made from a single block of metal , very strong.

or you could check that the hard drive has a shock sensor , that might help a bit if the netbook was dropped.

    interesting question though.

I'd say on balance the most cost effective plan would be a warranty and to keep a back-up of stuff at home.

Haha, but I was talking more around the 300-400 mark and the 10"-11" screen. But I like the way you think.

Sounds like you should look for a good protective case for it?
