17.3" screen? Think about that really. I have a 17" screen on my laptop.

When I was buying it I was all like "Aw yeah 17", dvd's will look amasing", but when you get it you soon realise it is a MASSIVE pain in the ass bringing it into college.
The rest of it looks cool. But seriously reconsider the screen size.
Also you will NOT get 4hours battery life with a screen that big, trust me.

I don't attend college full-time so the laptop is only going to be used in the house, and a few times a year in college.
It helps knowing that a 17" screen can be a pain.

Nvidia G105M won't be any good at gaming. Its basically the slowest (or close to it) mobile GPU Nvidia made in the 100M generation.

If you want to play games, you'd be advised to get at least a mid-range mobile GPU. Which for Nvidia would be something like a :
    -9600M or better,
    -GT130M or better,
    -GT230M or better

... and for AMD look out for the mHD5650 - nifty mid-range graphics card that doesn't seem to cost the earth but actually seems to stick to the same name : performance ratio as the desktop cards (i.e. a bit below HD5670) which is a rarity in mobile graphics.

Thanks for all the advise, the games/graphics card isn't a deal breaker for me so setting aside that what do you think or what else can i get for 899Euros.

If you want to game, and watch stuff in HD, and you wont be bringing it to college, then you will get a nice desktop rig for 900 euros.
