Connection dropping on new laptop

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help me. My old laptop died so I got a new Toshiba laptop with windows 7.

I am having alot of trouble with dropping internet connections which I have never had before.
My little signal strength thing is always full when its there but then the thing goes orange and has no connection sometimes I get the blue circle thing going around on it (what comes up when IE stops working for whatever reason!)
The internet can work fine for 5 minutes, 10 minutes sometimes up to 20 minutes but then this happens! I cant view webpages and then it takes a while for it to pick up a signal again and then sometimes it goes again straight away!
This is getting really frustrating and at times its absolutely pointless trying to get on the internet! The other laptops in the house are not having any problems like this.
I have made sure I have downloaded all the Windows updates and have gone on the toshiba site to make sure I have any updates from them.

Does anyone have any suggestions? They would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!
