Tent Maintenance

    So i finally got to use my snazzy new tent, but i was just wondering what would ye recommend after use? should i be hosing it down or is it ok to just hang it up and let it air out? much appreciated :)

    Yeah, pretty much. If it starts letting water through, you can wash it with Nikwax re-proofer or use their spray-on stuff. They say keeping it clean is important before putting it away for any length of time, but I usually just brush off any muck and that's it.

    The only thing I'd say is really important is to get some patches, something like Tear-Aid, so you can repair any tears as soon as they happen. Otherwise the tension on the fabric when the tent is erected will rip the fly right open.

    If its mucky and so forth hang it up to dry and brush off rather than washing as this can damage the water-proof-ness of it unnecessarily
