    I think Roche only ever rode one Vuelta (1992) and didn't win a stage.

    Kelly rode the Giro once and didn't win a stage, Roche rode the Vuelta once but didn't win a stage .

    After the 1988 Vuelta the 3 grand tours titles were all held by Irishmen :D

    According to the Philip Deignan article in the current Cycle Sport, it lists Shay Elliott as the only Irish winner of stages in all 3 races.

    Wikipedia does not mention Martin Earley as a Vuelta stage winner:
