    Hi,

I'm a traveler from Israel and Argentina and I'm staying in Ireland for a few months.
I'm not from the European union and from what I know, I can get tax refund for my stay in Europe.

I don't know how I should do it and I will really appreciate any help and tips.
    How you do it?
Which documents, receipts do I need to keep?
Which office deal with that and where is it located?
    etc..

    Thank you very much!
    Tomy

You can only get a refund of VAT on certain goods - things like hotels, food, entertainment etc don't count [also certain things like kids clothes and books don't have VAT]. It does not mean that you will not be charged VAT but that you can get a refund at the Tax-free Shopping counter at the airport prior to your departure. You get a voucher at the shop [ones with the tax free shopping sticker, mainly tourist shops and some department stores] that you need to fill out and bring to the counter at the airport. General restrictions are that a traveller must have residency in a non-EU country, has a maximum stay of 6 months when visiting and prob a bunch of other information that's prob written on the forum.
